Curious about faith and life?

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions to discuss the big questions of life and the message of Jesus in an informal, fun and friendly environment. Alpha consists of 10 sessions, looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’, 'Why did he die?' and ‘Why and how do I pray?’, with the option of a day away. Each session starts with a meal and cake. After watching a short talk, there is plenty of time for discussion and questions together. Millions of people around the world have been to an Alpha course. ​

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.

When and where?
Our next Alpha Course will begin on Thursday 24th September 2026. We run it jointly with St James Road Methodist Church, and the course is held in the lovely surroundings of Make and Brew coffee shop. For more information, or to book, use the form below.
