Cell Groups
'And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.' - Hebrews 10:24 - 25
Cell groups are midweek groups where we help each other grow in Christian faith and become more like Jesus. We focus on our 'discipleship triangle':
-
Up - our relationship with God (eg through prayer and Bible study)
-
In - our relationship with each other (eg through meals and supporting each other practically)
-
Out - our relationship with the world (eg through individual and corporate witness)
Groups meet weekly or fortnightly at different times of the week – Tuesday afternoon or Monday to Thursday evenings. Some are just for men or just for women. Most meet in Shirley.

If you’d like to join a cell group, contact the office or, if you know someone in one of the groups already, go along with them. It takes a while to settle into a cell group, so stick with it for a few weeks. If you still don’t feel it’s a place where you’ll be loved and accepted – and be able to love and accept others – try a different group. They won’t mind!
