You are welcome to join us for any of our Easter events:
Maundy Thursday (14th April)
7.30pm The Last Supper - an evening of worship, prayer, reflection and sharing bread and wine, remembering that Jesus is the bread of life.
If you're not able to join us in the building, you could watch this short service, which includes a short reflection, Bible reading, 2 songs and taking bread and wine.
Good Friday (15th April)
10am Easter Story Live! - an hour long event for all ages retracing the key events of the Easter story
11.15am Churches Together in Shirley - event in Shirley Precinct, outside Sainsbury's
2pm - 4pm church open for quiet prayer
If you're not able to join us in the building, you could join in with this hour-long service, journeying through the 7 last words of Jesus from the cross, with prayers and worship.
Easter Saturday (16th April)
10am - 12pm church open for quiet prayer
Easter Sunday (17th April)
6am Sunrise service - be the first to celebrate the good news: Jesus is risen - St James Park
9am Easter Communion (live-streamed) - a traditional communion service with Easter hymns
10.30am Easter Celebration - a celebration for all the family with worship led by a band
12.30pm Feaster Sunday - a hog roast (or vegan / vegetarian alternative), easter egg hunt, community art project - on Colebrook Green. Sadly we have had to cancel this event for reasons beyond our control.
3pm Sunday @3 Easter communion - Easter hymns and communion followed by tea and cake
