Safeguarding at St. James' by the Park
We are committed to protect and care for everyone in the church community, but especially adults at risk and children.
We have policies covering safeguarding of children, and safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
All staff and volunteers who lead groups for under 18s have been checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB checks). All volunteers who help lead groups for under 18s have been safely recruited.
The Diocese of Winchester offers two online safeguarding courses which are relevant for volunteers working in a church setting.

you will need to register an online account before you can access the training courses.
Please email the safeguarding team at safeguarding@stjamesbythepark.org if you have any queries or you complete any of the online training and we'll make a note for our records.
