Small midweek groups
Cell groups and missional communities use our 'discipleship triangle' to help each other grow in Christian faith and become more like Jesus:
* Up - our relationship with God (eg through prayer and Bible study)
* In - our relationship with each other (eg through meals and supporting each other practically)
* Out - our relationship with the world (eg through individual and corporate witness)
Most groups are committed to one of our seven mission focus areas as part of their 'Out' commitment. Groups meet weekly or fortnightly at different times of the week – Tuesday afternoon or Monday to Thursday evenings. Some are just for men or just for women. Most meet in Shirley. You can find a list of our current groups here.
If you’d like to join a cell group, contact Dan or, if you know someone in one of the groups already, go along with them. It takes a while to settle into a cell group, so stick with it for a few weeks. If you still don’t feel it’s a place where you’ll be loved and accepted – and be able to love and accept others – try a different group. They won’t mind!
