Services in the church building during covid-19

As we are now in National Lockdown, we are reviewing our protocols before committing to any more services in the church building.

In the meantime, you can join in our services online every Sunday.

Here’s what you can expect if you come
Services in our church building comply with the latest government and Church of England guidance. Watch the video or read below to see what steps we've taken.
* children are welcome to come, as long as they stay within their household bubble. Please see these details for what we are providing for children who come to the service.
* our numbers are limited to allow safe distancing - currently 50 people
* we’ll ask you to use the provided hand sanitiser on the way in and out
* you are required to wear a face covering (unless you are in one of the categories which mean you don't need to wear a face covering when visiting shops / using public transport). See also this update from our health and hygiene team with some tips about face coverings.
* we're keeping windows open for increased ventilation - so if you feel the cold, bring an extra layer
* we’ll ask you to keep to 2m social distancing for anyone who isn’t in your household or bubble
* we're keeping a record of who comes to each service, in case anyone tests positive with the virus in the 2 weeks afterwards - or you can check in with the NHS covid-19 app
* we’re not allowed to sing as a congregation, but we can worship with our hearts and even hum along!
* we’re not giving out service sheets or Bibles - all the words will be on the screens. If you cannot see the screens, let us know when you register so we can provide printed words for you.
* we’re not allowed to do refreshments afterwards, but we are allowed to stand around and chat outside afterwards in groups of up to 6. Bring a drink with you if you want!
