Monday
• Joined 7am prayers for children and young people on Zoom.
• We had the 4 eldest grandchildren for the day because they had inset day.
• Picked up 5th grandchild to join us at tea time. It was a great day but tired in the evening.
Tuesday
• We had the 4 eldest grandchildren for the day.
• In the evening, we went out to a friend’s for a meal, we were glad to be out and not cooking. The kids had been great!
Wednesday
• And breathe… I make some Sea Glass jewellery and cards.
• I went to Book group in the evening to decide which books to read for the next few months… We chose; Educated - Tara Westover; 19th Wife - David Bershoff; Go as a River - Shelley Reid; Finding Chika - Mitch Albam; The List - Yomi Adegoke; The Fraud - Zadie Smith.
• We had lots of fun and banter deciding.
Thursday
• I went to see Jacqui; we chatted and prayed.
• Went ‘shopping’ at the allotment (Lottie).
• And made lots of Lottie meals!
Friday
• Met with Dan and Nick for our vicar and wardens prayer morning
• Went into town to meet my lovely Hong Kong ladies group for coffee
• I met up with our daughter, Georgie and bumped into old friends from church which was a real treat!
• Had 5th grandchild at my house while 1st grandchild was having his school birthday party.
• We went to a friend's for a meal. As always it was an amazing meal.
Saturday
• We had Georgie’s family’s birthday celebration at the beach. I went in the sea and caught up with lots of lovely friends. It started to rain so we didn’t stay for the whole day.
• Friends came round and we went to The Ship for tea.
Sunday
• Took 2 of our grandchildren with us to church
• It was good to help our other daughter, Becca as well as her children were moving Junior Church groups.
• Becca and I took the three eldest grandchildren to a friend’s daughter’s 6th birthday party. Spider man was there! I did over 7,000 steps running around doing the games to encourage the children to join in. BTW my web making is not very good! 😉
• Had tea and watched some TV!!
