Key updates:
So far, over £293,000 has been donated or pledged by members of the congregation towards an initial target of £370,000
The anticipated costs of the Parish Hall have increased from £700k to £8-900k
We are waiting on final planning permission from the City Council for the Parish Hall plans
We’ve been given approval to have an air source heat pump in the renovated Parish Hall
Praise God:
Good working relationships with Snug Architects
A useful meeting with someone from the City Council about Colebrook Green
Someone has offered to cover the initial outlay of the £10 challenge
Someone has offered some match-funding up to £5,000

Preparations for going more public with the local community about fundraising
The Quiz Night on 11th July - fun and fundraising, and for those organising it
The Buildings Vision Group as they work with the architects to see how to lower the costs for the Parish Hall again
Decisions being made soon about a new name for the Parish Hall
Good engagement with the local community at the St James Park Summer Fayre - and for volunteers to man the stall
Grant applications are currently being considered by the Benefact Trust; and further applications to the National Lottery and Garfield Weston are being prepared.
